We are a group of UCLA students passionate about skincare and, more importantly, creating product solutions that meet the users where they are! Composed of talented engineers and designers, our team came together under UCLA Creative Labs’ Fall 2023 Projects Cohort.
What separates Clearify from other cosmetic analyzers on the market is our decision to tool it as a browser extension. Clearify saves users the extra steps of pulling up another tab to search for a cosmetic analyzer, copy and paste ingredients, and analyze their product. With Clearify, you can research on-the-go as you browse for your next skincare essential that aligns perfectly with your skin’s needs.

(1) scans a product’s ingredients list as you shop through parsing
(2) checks if a cosmetic is safe for your skin, e.g. silicone-free, alcohol-free, or FA-safe (fungal acne-safe), using the community-trusted EWG Skin Deep Database
